Illusory Blast

Make an illusion of a ranged power attack against the target. You decide the details of the attack, including damage type, that you wish the attack to seem to be. On a hit, the target takes 1d8 + your power ability modifier psychic damage, but believes it to be the type you selected.

If the target is suspicious that the attack isn't real, it can make an Intelligence save. If successful that target is immune to your Illusory Blast for the next 24 hours.

At Higher Levels: This power's damage increases by 1d8 when you reach 5th level (2d8), 11th level (3d8), and 17th level (4d8).

Extra Attack. If you have the Extra Attack class feature you may split your damage dice between multiple attacks. To do so, determine which dice will be used to roll damage for each attack before making the attack rolls. Your ability modifier is added to the damage of each attack, but only once per target.

For example…

Pipe Dream is a 5th level Action Hero and has the Extra Attack feature. He is facing two psycho clowns and decides to use his Illusory Blast against both of them, using 1d8 against each. He makes two attack rolls and, if successful, he rolls 1d8 + his power ability modifier to determine the damage dealt to each psycho clown.

The next round he decides to focus on one of the psycho clowns with her Illusory Blast and attacks the other with her unarmed strike. He rolls one attack with his Illusory Blast and, if successful, deals 2d8 + his power ability modifier to determine the damage dealt to one psycho clown and makes an unarmed strike against the other.
