Phase Wall

5th-level environmental

Activation Time: 1 action
Range: Touch
Duration: 10 minutes

You shift the molecules of a wooden, plaster, or stone surface (such as a wall, a ceiling, or a floor) that you touch creating an unseen passage for the duration, as long as you are in contact with the surface. The passage is considered difficult terrain for those moving through it, and the area within the passage is heavily obscured. You choose the portal's dimensions: up to five 5-foot cubes in any arrangement so long as each has a face touching at least one other cube. The passage creates no instability in a structure surrounding it.

When the opening closes, any creatures or objects still in the passage created by the power must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a success, they are ejected to an unoccupied space nearest to the surface on which you used the power and take 4d6 force damage. On a failure, they are trapped inside, taking 8d6 force damage and begin to suffocate.
