Scorch Marks

2nd-level attack

Activation Time: 1 action
Range: 30 feet
Duration: Instantaneous

This power takes two forms: as either a line of searing flames or as thee distinct fiery scorches.

  • Fiery scorches. You can create three scorching streaks of fire and slide them at targets within range. You can hurl them at one target or several. Make a ranged power attack for each. On a hit, the target takes 2d4 + your power ability modifier fire damage.
  • Line of flame. You create a line of flame 30 feet long and 5 feet wide from yourself in any direction. All creatures within the line must make a Dexterity saving throw or suffer 3d6 + your power ability modifier fire damage, or half as much damage on a successful save.

At Higher Levels. When you trigger this power using a power slot above 2nd level, the damage of the line of flame increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 2nd. Alternately you can add an additional fiery scorch for every power slot above 2nd.
