Super-Intelligence

3rd-level ability increase (base power)

Activation Time: 1 action
Range: Self
Duration: 1 hour

This is a super-ability and grants you the following benefits:

  • Double Intelligence. You roll twice when making Intelligence checks, Intelligence saves, and Intelligence-based attack rolls and take the higher. This does not count as advantage. If you have advantage, roll one additional time.
  • Inhumanly Smart. You always win opposed Intelligence checks against opponents without Super-Intelligence.
  • Reliable Intelligence. When you roll an Intelligence check, you can take a roll of 6 instead.
  • Reserve of Intelligence. While this power is active, as a bonus action, you can add 1d4 + your proficiency bonus to one Intelligence check, Intelligence-based attack, or Intelligence saving throw DC. You cannot use this feature again until you have completed a short or long rest.
  • Intelligent Insight. You can replace Wisdom for the Insight skills with your Intelligence.

You must have the Great-Intelligence base power to take this as a base power. You do not recover the power slot or prepared power that you gave up for Great-Intelligence but must give up an additional 3rd-level power slot and prepared power to take this as a base power. However, you gain three bonus proficiencies that you may select from any armor type, language, skill, tool, or weapon proficiency.

The benefits of this power do not stack with Great-Intelligence. You only retain the Great Intellect and Saving Intelligence feature from Great-Intelligence.

At higher levels. When you trigger this power using a power slot at higher levels, you gain additional benefits.

  • 4th level. When you roll an Intelligence check, you can take a roll of 8 instead. Additionally, you have a moment of insight which grants you a bonus armor, language, skill, tool, or weapon proficiency of your choice for the duration.
  • 5th level. When you roll an Intelligence check, you can take a roll of 10 instead. Also, you can use your Reserve of Intelligence feature twice.
  • 6th level. When you roll an Intelligence check, you can take a roll of 12 instead. Additionally, you have a moment of insight which grants you two bonus armor, language, skill, tool, or weapon proficiencies of your choice for the duration.
  • 7th level. When you roll an Intelligence check, you can take a roll of 14 instead. Also, you can use your Reserve of Intelligence feature three times.
  • 8th level. When you roll an Intelligence check, you can take a roll of 16 instead. Additionally, you have a moment of insight which grants you three bonus armor, language, skill, tool, or weapon proficiencies of your choice for the duration.
  • 9th level. When you roll an Intelligence check, you can take a roll of 18 instead. Also, you can use your Reserve of Intelligence feature four times.
